“Spending the day in Gordon’s Bay with Larissa was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. It felt so real and unfiltered — swimming with local kids, exploring this beautiful little fishing village, and visiting Famous Bikini Bookstore where even finding a book felt like an experience. We ended the day with the most delicious pizza at a cosy spot by the yacht haven. It’s the kind of day you just can’t plan on your own.
A Wild, One-of-a-Kind Day
Larissa created such a unique and personal experience. As someone obsessed with big cats, visiting Cheetah Outreach and getting up close with these incredible animals was unreal. We then stopped at the sweetest little lunch spot with amazing artisanal bakes and fresh ingredients — exactly my kind of place. To top it all off, she introduced me to a super local, off-the-beaten-path cannabis experience that I never would’ve found on my own. It felt authentic, relaxed, and completely different from any typical tour. Highly recommend.
A Perfect Day in the Winelands
Even as South Africans, this experience made us see the Winelands in a completely new way. Larissa curated a beautiful day — from the fascinating history at the Stellenbosch Village Museum to a scenic drive through Paarl’s historic streets. Visiting Victor Verster Prison, where Nelson Mandela was released, was especially meaningful. We ended the day with a fantastic wine and cheese pairing at Fairview and left with a basket full of delicious local cheeses and artisanal bread. It was the perfect mix of culture, history, and indulgence — and a reminder that there’s still so much to discover right on our doorstep.
A Truly Memorable Experience
So the whole trip was exactly what we expected. Our driver had so much knowledge and such a great personality. You know how they say you learn something new every day — I felt completely overloaded with her knowledge! I highly recommend this driver.
